This charming piece fits both flute and guitar so well! My arrangement is in the same key as Ronan Keating's version and includes the same two key-changes - both seem to lift the music to a higher key, yet cleverly the second change returns us to the original key.
This arrangement captures all of the original except the long slow fade-out, and, like the original song, verse 2 has one bar less than verse 1!
Much of the guitar part can be played in the lower positions where there’s just a little bit more sustain to help support the flute part. Where the guitar part needs sustain across the bar-lines, I have used “ties to nothing” rather than formal ties. Ties generate a lot more black on the page and make the music harder to read.
